Awards: Berenberg named “Best Asset Manager” again in 2015
Hamburg. Berenberg's Private Banking division garnered two important awards within a four-week period.
After once again being singled out as “Best Private Bank in Germany” on 29 October in Geneva at the Global Private Banking Awards organised by the trade publications “The Banker” and “Professional Wealth Management”, which are owned by the Financial Times, Germany's oldest private bank received the prestigious “Winner's Certificate” in the report “The Elite Class of Asset Managers” yesterday evening in Munich. It was the sixth year in a row that Berenberg scored the highest number of points, earning it the title of “Best Asset Manager”. Moreover, Berenberg received the attribute “summa cum laude” for the eleventh year in a row.
“Elite Report” editor-in-chief Hans-Kaspar v. Schönfels made the following points: “Berenberg takes a comprehensive approach to asset management. The advisory and support services it provides are not limited to asset management, but extend very quickly to analysis. This means Berenberg is a provider of in-depth advice to companies and families as well.”
“We are proud to have repeated the outstanding point scores of prior years,” said Dr Hans-Walter Peters, Spokesman of the Managing Partners of Berenberg. “As an owner-managed private bank with a history that goes back almost 425 years, Berenberg has continually revisited its business model and adapted it to satisfy the needs of its clients. We focus on the management of all opportunities and risks that could affect the financial situation of our clients. We place great value on top-drawer expertise, high quality advisory services, strong transparency and close personal relationships with our clients. Our advisors conceive a comprehensive strategy for our clients by recognising, analysing, addressing and solving their problems, whether having to do purely with capital markets, or more broadly pertaining to their family, business or professional matters.”
