Taking social responsibility is a long-standing tradition at our company, which still plays an immense role today. At the end of the 16th century, our company founders already got involved with leading one of the oldest charities in the world, the “Niederländische Armen-Casse“ (Dutch Poor-Relief Fund) still existing today. 

Berenberg Bank is engaging itself in many ways: The bank acts as a patron, sponsors activities in the fields of cultures, science and sport, and particularly promotes young artists with the help of the Berenberg Bank Stiftung (Berenberg Bank Trust).   We also take much pleasure in seeing that our employees are engaging themselves in the BerenbergKids initiative for children and adolescents.
