Equity Selection
In the field of large caps, the stock picking approach is based on fundamental models or on technical models developed in-house.
Based on purely quantitative aspects, the stock picking approach filters those stocks from a certain index / benchmark universe which appear to be fundamentally undervalued, have proven a certain resilience in falling market phases and are currently in an attractive trend phase.
Stock picking among small & mid caps is based on a fundamental bottom-up investment process which rests in particular on the analysis of cash flow ratios.
Both in Western European small & mid cap funds and in Eastern European funds, the stock picking is based on an analysis of growth, value, the business model and management quality. Investments are directed at companies which generate their cost of capital on a sustainable basis and which are attractively valued against the backdrop of their cash flow generation.
