The bank’s first annual balance sheet following the currency reform disclosed a capital of 0.25 million euros and a business volume of 1.5 million euros. Today, its liable equity amounts to 177 million and the balance sheet total to 4.3 billion euros. Berenberg Bank currently manages more than 20 billion euros.
