Elite Report names Berenberg “Best Asset Manager” for 7th time
In Munich last night, Germany’s oldest private bank was again named “Best Asset Manager” in the report Die Elite der Vermögensverwalter. This is now the seventh time in a row that Berenberg has achieved the best score in the analysis, enabling it to defend its position at the top of the league table. Elite Report editor-in-chief Hans-Kaspar v. Schönfels highlighted: “Inner stability and exemplary client orientation are promoted by the well-practised, clear advisory methodology, which explicitly elaborates the parameters of the wealthy clients, thus ensuring that the care process has a binding orientation. Asset management at Berenberg is 360 degree. No wealth-related topic is missing, meaning that even complex generational transitions can be accompanied securely.” His one-word summary: “Exemplary!”
Earlier, on 4 November, Berenberg had been named “Best Private Bank in Germany” for the fifth time in a row by the trade magazines The Banker and Professional Wealth Management (both part of the Financial Times Group) at the Global Private Banking Awards in Singapore.
“We’re really proud of our ability to follow up the outstanding achievements from previous years with these results,” says Dr Hans-Walter Peters, Spokesman for the Managing Partners of Berenberg. “As an owner-managed private bank with 425 years of tradition behind it, Berenberg is constantly adapting its business model to reflect the needs of its clients. For us, managing a larger volume of wealth means more than simply communicating investment ideas. We manage all the opportunities and risks that might have an impact on the wealth situation of our clients.”
In the study, the Elite Report analysed a total of 362 asset managers throughout the German-speaking lands; only 45 institutions were classified as recommended, with Berenberg again coming out top of the list.
