02.11.2011Berenberg Bank receives “Best Private Bank in Germany” award

Hamburg. Berenberg Bank won the renowned Global Private Banking Award 2011 for “Best Private Bank in Gemany”. Deutsche Bank came in second place. The award was bestowed upon the bank by the FT Group publications “The Banker” and “Professional Wealth Management”. Berenberg also offers Private Banking Services from the London office.

“We are delighted about this prestigious award and that the quality of our work has once again received recognition. We attach great importance to providing independent advice and bespoke services to our clients. Drawing on our dedication, proximity to our clients and our innovativeness as well as a distinctive corporate culture we strive to build long-standing client relationships,” says Dr Hans-Walter Peters, spokesman of the Managing Partners of the private bank, which was founded in 1590.

Berenberg was previously shortlisted by the judges in 2009 for the category of most innovative private bank.
