Team headed by Dominic Hughes moves from Dresdner Kleinwort to Berenberg Major addition to services for corporate clients

Hamburg/London. Germany’s oldest private bank has signed Dominic Hughes, formerly of Dresdner Kleinwort, to establish a new equity advisory team.

Dominic Hughes (44), former Head of European Corporate Broking at Dresdner Kleinwort, joined Berenberg Bank.  Berenberg has also hired members of his former team including Harald Kinzler, Katja Buerkle and Florian Nuebling. Between them, team members have more than 40 years of experience in the equity markets and have been leaders in the introduction of Corporate Broking services to non-UK based companies.  Dominic Hughes comments: ‘Our objective is to help the bank’s clients to understand the demands of their shareholder base, to protect them from share price underperformance and to ensure shareholder support for their strategic plans.  This is of particular importance in an environment where the competition for capital is, and will remain, more intense than most corporate leaders have experienced.’
