As the login name, you need to enter your full surname, the first letter of your first name and two zeros at the end. Everything needs to be capitalized. For instance, the client Max Mustermann would have the following User ID: MUSTERMANNM00

What is my User ID name?

When logging in, please enter the PIN (personal identification number) that was sent to you separately. If you have used the Online Banking system before and you changed that PIN, you will need to enter this number.

What do I need to enter in the field “PIN”?

When logging in for the first time, you need to enter the details that were sent to you by Berenberg. This includes the Customer ID, the User ID and the PIN. After the login, you are asked to change the PIN and authenticate this with a TAN. You can generate TANs using the TAN-Generator, which you received by Berenberg.

What do I have to consider when logging on for the first time?

Your access to the online banking might not have been activated yet. Please send the receipt you received together with your customer ID back to Berenberg via Fax or Mail. Only after receiving the receipt proving that the data arrived with the correct recipient, the account will be activated.

Why does the error message “Partly faulty” occur after logging in for the first time?

When changing your PIN, please choose a number between 4 and 12 characters. You may chose all characters including special characters. However, please refrain from using popular combinations such as Start123, 12345 or 4711.

What do I need to do to change my PIN?
