02.11.2016 — Berenberg is "Best Private Bank in Germany"
Hamburg/London. Berenberg has again been named the Best Private Bank in Germany. In the process, Germany’s oldest private bank became the only institution in the world to achieve this accolade for the sixth consecutive time.
Last week, on 27th October, 250 bankers from across the globe gathered in London to attend the Global Private Banking Awards ceremony. This was the eighth time that the Financial Times, together with its specialist titles The Banker and Professional Wealth Management, presented these prestigious awards.
"We are delighted to have received this award for a record sixth consecutive time. We aim to continue to be recognised for the exceptional standards with which we deliver and meet the needs of our clients, and maintain our ongoing success as the Best Private Bank in Germany", commented Berenberg’s Managing Partner and spokesman Dr Hans-Walter Peters.
Financial institutions from over 60 different countries were analysed by an independent panel, which rated each bank’s corporate and growth strategy, as well as their customer relationship management activities, among other things. They also examined the extent to which institutions gear their portfolio management, asset management and product strategy to meet the needs of their clients.
